Hosting a Finishing Well: A Survivor’s Plan of Action class is one of the most effective ways to grow your community, deepen relationships, and foster accountability. And, it’s not much work. We take care of the class, you just take care of the location and who you want to participate.
Why You Should Host
Ask yourself these questions:
- Do you have a small group you want to share your experiences when you took Finishing Well: A Survivor’s Plan of Action?
- Do you have parents and want them and their friends to create their Survivor’s Plan of Action?
- Do you lead a church or large community and want to provide an outstanding service to your group so they can create their Survivor’s Plan of Action?
- Do you have a business where you want to grow your customer relationship?
- Do you have content that would be a good companion with this content you want to share with your customer base?
Any of these are great reasons to host a class.
To host a class, you need to decide three things:
- The format you want to offer
- The venue to host it in
- When you want the class to be held
As soon as you can, contact us at finishingwellplan@gmail.com and we can discuss options that work best for you (including discounts).
Look forward to hear from you soon!
Class Format
The class can be delivered in a variety of ways, including one long day, 2 sessions over 2 weeks, 3 sessions over 3 weeks. There are benefits and limitations to each.
2 Sessions (one per week)
- Great for community groups that do not have a lot of time. Finding two days that work is easier than three days
- 2 sessions still provides time for “homework”, but independent work is required with only one week in-between sessions
3 Sessions (one per week)
- Great for events where additional content is shared
- Provides more time for “homework” in between sessions
- Provides room for additional exercises
- Great option when hosts want to add complimentary content and need more time.
1/2 Day Workshop with Lunch
- Great option for groups that need to travel
- Provides all content in one day
- Host should provide lunch to break the sessions and give time for discussion and questions
Venue
The class has been delivered in a variety of venues, and it’s really up to you, the host, what you prefer.
Home
This works great for small gatherings, accountability groups, and small groups that want to ask questions, feel more open, and have a close-knit group to continually call on to further your Survivor’s Plan of Action.
Participant range: 8-16
Class Room
This works great for community groups and larger teams that want to participate together, have broader impact, yet small enough to all talk together
Suggested Range: 12-35
Auditorium
An auditorium works great for a larger group (church, business, client gathering) where you want a larger reach and also works great for all-day sessions where you can have tables in the auditorium.
Participant range: 25-100+
Sit Back or Participate – You Choose
Some hosts want to just bring their group and us together…and that is a great way to host. We will take care of everything to make sure the class runs smoothly.
Other hosts want to participate. For example, this happens when a Financial Planner or Legal Advisor is hosting a class and wants to provide additional content to the participants that could additionally benefit them as they create their Survivor’s Plan of Action. This is also a great way to host, and we work with you to ensure the content flows smoothly together.
We look forward to engaging with you to create an outstanding event. Contact us at finishingwellplan@gmail.com and we will get started!
