The Program

The “Finishing Well – A Survivor’s Plan of Action” program will challenge you, entertain you (we hope!), equip you, and motivate you to create your survivor’s plan of action to help those you love shut down the life engine you’ve spent years perfecting.

Greg Hintermeister running talking through the Financial Engine … a key concept in your Survivor’s Plan of Action

The class is delivered in multiple sessions and focuses on three areas:

  • First, Why Finishing Well is so essential (not just to prepare for your death, but to improve how you live).
  • Second, how to handle the immediate tasks through the memorial – who to call, what to do, what to secure…basically, how to guide your loved ones and put the process on auto-pilot.
  • Third, how to Take over and shut down everything from finances, homes, passwords, and so much more.

The Format

This is how the program is structured:

The Program

Timeline: The 3 stages the survivor needs to follow: 1) The Immediate, 2) Through the memorial, and 3) Succeeding weeks.

Worksheets: The details required to successfully manage all elements of the timeline

Guides & Tips: How to organize essential information and tips we learned along the way that could help you while you create your Survivor’s Plan of Action.

In each session we’ll have lively conversations, run exercises, and end with a Q/A. By the time these sessions end, you will have a solid start on your Survivor’s Plan of Action, and you’ll be equipped to engage your loved ones so you can take this journey together.

Hands-On Materials

To accelerate creating your Survivor’s Plan of Action, the program comes with a guidebook & workbook.

In the guidebook you will see pages of examples showing the kind of details you need in your Survivor’s Plan of Action. Then at the back, is a workbook with blank worksheets. This will become your customized plan of action. This is a subset of the content:

The program also provides on-line versions of the guidebook and workbook so you can download and start typing away. Additionally, the on-line content includes sample worksheets in various formats (.PDF, .DOC, and google docs).

Finally, the program provides a blog with numerous articles, links to other assets, and finally we include 3.5 hours of video from a recent class where you can study the program in more depth.
